Annual Refugee Art Show at Friends House
To mark the Rights of Refugees Week, the Quaker Committee for Refugees holds an annual art show entitled, Beyond Fear and Loss, Reaching for Hope: the visual expression of refugee experience of flight from homeland, and the journey to a new life in Canada. We showcase the work of artists who have found refuge in Canada, along with work of Canadian-born artists who support the rights of refugees and their inclusion in our multicultural society. The exhibit features sculpture, photography, painting and mixed media and textiles.
