Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training
As an employer, Toronto Monthly Meeting is concerned about and has a legal responsibility to facilitate your awareness around health and safety issues that pertain to your work.
There are three steps to this training:
1. Ontario Ministry of Labour Training: Employees in the positions of Resident Friend / Manager, Associate Resident Friend, and On Duty Friends are required to complete an online training around Worker Health and Safety Awareness, offered by the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
When you are finished the training, please fill in and submit a form at the end of the module. An email will be sent to you with a copy of your Certificate of Completion. Please forward this email to the Resident Friend / Manager at [email protected] to confirm the completion of the module.

2. Training around issues specific to Friends House: The above listed employees are also required to be informed about health and safety concerns specifically pertaining to Friends House.

3. Friends House Emergency Procedures Training: Friends House On-Duty staff are likely to be the first responders to emergency situations at Friends House, and must be prepared.
